Built around 1520, this thatched, former wool merchant's house is joined by an adjacent bakehouse. Both surround a secluded and colourful courtyard garden, ideal for relaxation on sunny days. When not resting in one of four beautifully equipped en suite bedrooms, a guest lounge and an oak-beamed dining room is available. Using only locally-produced foods, each meal is prepared to an extremely high standard.

The White Horse was built in the mid 19th century by Lord Churston. Subsequent owners appear to have been offering accommodation to paying guests for over 100 years.
